To book a Music Aptitude 1 to 1 session, students need to have attended an 11 Plus Music Test Workshop and at least one or more 11 Plus Mock Music Tests. Students are recommended to attend a maximum of two individual sessions at any one time followed by an 11 Plus Mock Music Test in order to monitor progress.

Preparing students for the Music Aptitude Test 2024

The 11 Plus Music Test Programmes are a set of structured workshops and tests designed to support and prepare your child for the Music Aptitude Test. Our programmes support the SW Herts Consortium of schools and selective schools throughout the UK that use the music criterion as part of their admissions process. We offer 11 Plus Mock Music Tests, 11 Plus Music Test Workshops, Music Aptitude 1 to 1 Sessions and MAT Practice audio downloads, a useful home resource for regular practice.

How to prepare your child for the Music Aptitude Test

Preparation for the Music Aptitude Test starts with an 11 Plus Music Test Workshop, a helpful and informative introduction to the Music Aptitude Test. Thereafter, students attend an 11 Plus Mock Music Test, an accurate and up to date simulation of the Music Aptitude Test.

Our MAT practice audio tests can be used on a regular basis as a home training resource and for further consolidation. The Music Aptitude Test 1 to 1 sessions are intended for those students who would benefit from more focused and indepth practice.
