I am a piano teacher and have found these Music Aptitude Tests amongst the best available. They reflect the actual requirements of the MAT for the SW Herts Consortium of Schools Music Aptitude Test and are very clear and comprehensive. Rebecca was very quick to answer some questions that I had, and has been very helpful. She obviously knows her stuff! I would highly recommend these tests.
Each MAT Practice Test consists of 60 multiple choice questions in four test sections: Pitch, Melody, Rhythm & Texture and is an accurate and up to date simulation of the Music Aptitude Test. Every audio download test comes with a test sheet for students to complete and answer sheet for immediate results and can be purchased as single MAT Tests or in multipack format.
In our experience, those students who practice and prepare on a regular basis are more likely to build confidence, familiarity and gain a greater understanding of what is required of them.
